Business Growth

We work on the basic premise that every employee needs to know where their organisation wants to be and how they personally are going to be involved in getting there.

The Clarity & Alignment programme helps organisations whose CEO/senior team may have a view of where they are headed but their staff are not aware or bought into that vision; they do not understand how that longer term view, translates to their job role today, let alone next week or next month.  There is more a scattergun approach, with little focus and joined-up thinking in one direction, to achieve one result - their vision of success.

This programme initially creates clarity and gains buy-in, to the future direction for an organisation. Through the design of a bespoke framework, every team and individual member of staff, is then aligned in what they are doing and how they are contributing towards achieving that vision.

Here is an example of a Clarity & Alignment programme

Key purpose:

To improve business performance by establishing a clear direction and ensuring alignment across the organisation, to the contribution of every employee.

Key elements of the programme:

  • 1:1 Coaching for the CEO in leading the change
  • Senior Management Team away day to define vision/mission/values
  • Development of a tiered objectives framework
  • Workshops to skill the managers in delivering against the framework
  • Roll-out of tiered objectives down to each individual member of staff
  • A process to review progress
  • Action Learning Groups to maintain focus and sustain the change

An example of a tiered framework is illustrated below:

5 Year Strategic Business Plan

1 Year Business Objectives and Measures

1 Year Team/Departmental Objectives

1 Year Individual Objectives

Individual Development Objectives

As a result of implementing this programme, clients have reported a significant impact on business results.  It not only helps to have a collective focus on business objectives but it is very motivational to every employee, who individually, can see how they are contributing to the organisation's success.  It has also been found to be instrumental in gaining the "Investors in People" standard.
